This beach is not crowded, but we don’t have to worry about the facilities because we can find so many warung near the fishermen’s village. You can also find fish sate there. If you want to stay overnight, you can rent a villa in the area.

From Mataram, you just need to take the route to Lombok International Airport. If you have reached Jami’ Penunjak Mosque, you should turn to the north until you find the beach. 

When you are going to reach the area, you will find a magnificent view of the beach from the top. You will find a large bay with blue crystallized ocean framed by curved white sand.

3. Mawi Beach - Lombok

4. Lancing Beach - Lombok

Lancing Beach is a peaceful beach that has beautiful gradient color of the sea. Lancing Beach is located between Mawun Beach and Mawi Beach. No sign board, just ask the local.

6. Kuta Beach - Lombok

KUTA is part of Central Lombok Regency which the Capital is Praya. The located about 70 km from Selaparang Airport/Mataram and also from Lembar Port can be reached by public transport.



Start it from Bertais bus station to Praya Bus Station which takes in 30 minutes, and then you can go on from Praya to Kuta which takes at least 30 minutes by using bemo public transport which is available until 5.00 pm.

Lies on the southern coast of Lombok, the peaceful Kuta Beach offers miles of white-sand beach, pristine water, and well preserved coral reef.

When you have reached Kuta Beach Lombok, you can choose various beach activities like snorkeling, surfing, or simply sit on the beach to tan the skin or watch then sunset. About 2 km to the east, you will find Seger Beach. 

The beach is in the same coastline as Kuta Lombok and the view is also so magnificent. For who love snorkeling, Seger beach is a perfect place. The same thing goes for surfing.

Many tourists even prefer Seger Beach for surfing and snorkeling than Kuta Beach. Kuta Lombok is the most famous tourism destination in Lombok,

Kuta Beach retains a unique natural event. Once a year millions of sea worms come to the beach and thousands of local residents will come to catch them. Some of them come from areas far away from the village. They camp on the beach and cook and consume the sea worm there. Whilst local residents take it as a cultural ritual, the government promote the event as a tourism attraction.

7. Seger Beach 

Seger Beach is not as famous as Senggigi Beach,Mostly do not know about this Seger beach, either on its beauty, its location and history. Seger Beach is located next to Mandalika Beach (Kuta), Central Lombok.

Lombok is famous with awesome beautiful beach. One of them famous beach is Seger Beach. Seger Beach is located on southern Lombok Island. it's about 65 Kilometers from Mataram.

The Seger beach is near from Kute(Kuta) Beach. It's nice trip, when you pass the coastline. If you love to climb the Hill, The Seger Beach is the best place to being chosen.

I think it makes tourism will comeback this Island. Not only we can swim in clear and calm water of the beach, but Seger has a fantastic Panorama when the Sunset time.

Seger is the closest break to Kuta. A quick scooter ride or casual stroll East from Kuta to the vicinity of the Novotel Lombok. Seger is mainly a right hander reef and beach break with opportunities for cover-ups.

The wave is best in smaller swells on incoming or outgoing tides. Best option for a quick surf around Kuta.

When you are visiting Kuta Beach, make sure to allocate your time to go to Seger Beach.

The beach is located only about 2km from the East of Kuta Beach. Since the location is near with Kuta, make sure to take a visit it also.

This beach is in the same coastline with Kuta Beach. Not only serve us a great beach view, but also the stunning underwater life. 

Just like in other beaches, the common activities that you can do in Seger Beach are swimming, surfing, sunbathing and definitely watching the sunset.

Seger provides a heavy right hander and is excellent under most conditions. It’s a popular spot during the afternoon tide shift, and especially after the big rains in the wet season. Ride past the Novotel, then turn right after the small bridge and continue taking right turns until the road becomes unsealed. There is free parking at the very end, with a small hill that onlookers can climb for a phenomenal view of the surroundings.

On certain months, usually February to March, you can watch Bau Nyale ceremony or catching the sea worm in Kuta Beach and Seger Beach. 

This ceremony done annualy and it is signed with the appearance of sea worm or nyale, which is believed to be the incarnation of Princess Mandalika. 

Not only can you watch and catch Nyale, but also taste some foods from Nyale. Some local Lombok people said that Nyale is tasty. Therefore, don’t ever miss this chance because Nyale can only be found in Lombok island.

8. Tanjung Aan Beach

Tanjung Aan beach located in south Lombok, where not far from Kuta Lombok or rather adjacent. 

Tanjung Aan beach can be passed with about 90 minutes through the city of Mataram. Along the right side and left Tanjung Aan are awesome hills facing the fierce waves of the sea, which in turn the waves that led to Tanjung Aan became quite calm.

Kaliantan also becomes a choice for one who wants to escape from the hustle. It looks more stunning as the pasture stretches widely behind the beach.

10. Pantai Cemara

It is located at east Lombok, between ‘Beach of heaven’ and Tanjung Ringgit beach. The beach is isolated and far from settlement so not many people know and want to visit there even people of Lombok itself. 

But there is something that makes it become a good destination is quiet place and peaceful, also at the coast you will see a lot of Pine tree and spruce along the way.

If you are reluctant to feel tired for facing the broken streets to find the beauty , Cemara Beach is the right choice for you . The beach is located in the southern part of East Lombok which offers a quiet atmosphere and cool beaches , in addition, to reach the coast you do not bother to pass through damaged . the condition of the street is quite nice . it is called Cemara (pine) beach because there are a lot of of pine trees grow there, so you do not have to worry about the heat .

There are many pine trees that you can make as a shelter . With so many trees on the beach gives a soothing cool atmosphere , it is ideal for a relaxing place . Cemara beach with its clean white sand and clear green sea water will spoil your eyes . It does not seem to be bored enjoy the scenery on the coast . On the beach there is also a small hill that you can climb , from the top of the hill you can enjoy the Cemara Beach panorama with more leverage .

 11. Pantai Tangsi (Pink Beach)

If you are fed up with the congestion of the city, bored at work, headache thinking about the business, or bored with the routine of your life, then it is time you charge your soul and your body in a new atmosphere. I know you desperately need a vacation for a week or more.

Located only 1.5 hours away from Lombok International Airport, the beach comprising of pink sand is actually named Tangsi Beach, meaning boarding house. This unique pink color is derived from a mixture of white sand and pieces and fragments of pink coral reefs along the coast of the beach.

Local people call it Pantai Tangsi, although the name is increasingly disappearing by the name Pink Beach. This beach called pink because white sand mixed with fragments of red coral. If exposed to sea water, and the afternoon or morning sun, sand grains subtly changes color to pink. Reportedly, there are seven beaches in the world are pink sand as in the Bahamas. You can also find pink beach on Komodo Island. You should not miss the beauty of this beach if you are in Lombok.

In order to enter Pink Beach, visitors only need to pay Rp10,000 per vehicle. Unfortunately, the awful condition of the roads leading to the beach and inadequate infrastracture and facilities has made Pink Beach a less desirable place for tourists. The government needs to pay more attention to this region and spruce up its shores in order to preserve its beauty.

12. Tanjung Ringgit

To reach it takes about 2.5 hours travel time from the city of Mataram. A very long and tiring, especially when traveling through the last half hour approached Tanjung Ringgit. The route is very dry, with no paved streets and badly damaged.

Tanjung Ringgit has plenty of hidden nature such as breath taking whiterock cliff and white. It takes a bit far from main town (about 2,5 hours) to get to Tanjung Ringgit. The beach has not widely been exposed, thus it remains natural. You can still see a Japanese hiding cave and cannon from World War II period, you may still find a Japanese hiding cave and cannon. You can also take a boat and cruishing along the beach.The underwater life panorama is very good and rich with colourful coral and little fishes.
